Now Amanita Design - the team behind indie hits Samorost 1 & 2 - are due to release Machinarium in October. With its beautiful and charming art design, and cracking musical score, this could be a classic.
Of course, point and click adventures live or die by the quality of their puzzles, but hopes are high that Machinarium won't let us down.
Machinarium will be available from the Steam network in a few months time. Until then, here are some screens.
